After a lot of trial and error, I’ve finally figured out a great way to do it. I’d love to share it with you so you’ll know how to organize your jewelry.
I used to keep all of them in a jewelry box, but I’m a very visual person and if I don’t see it, it’s because I don’t have it. Ya know what I mean?
Are you a visual person?
If you’re like me, you’re gonna love how I’ve learned to organize my jewelry.
I started by finding the perfect type of jewelry organizer for my necklaces and earrings.
The necklaces used to get completely tangled in the box, and I would always lose one pair of the earrings.
Has that ever happened to you?
It was so frustrating to get all dressed up and not be able to find the perfect accessories to match with my outfit.
I went to numerous stores and did my research. The one I picked checks all items off my wish list.
Are you ready to learn how to organize your jewelry?
First thing I will be sharing is the detailed necklace and earring organizer I was able to find.
It has many different spots and ways to hang your necklaces as well as attach your earrings too.
Necklace and Earring Organizer
I love how I can see everything that’s on it. There’s even a little spot to add a couple of bracelets on the bottom and on the top. Also, you can always use that space for more earrings if you have many more than I do.
This jewelry hanger was perfect for the thinner and more delicate necklaces, but the big ones looked very messy and hid the smaller ones. For this reason, I felt like I needed a second way to organize the maxi necklaces and chokers I have.
Can you tell this is a key holder?
You probably can, but just because I told you! Kidding, but the fact that it is a key holder, just makes it cheaper and easier to find anywhere, even grocery and home improvement stores.
They have a wider space between the hooks, which allows for the thicker necklaces to stay organized and out of each other’s way.
That looked great to me, but as I kept emptying what once was my jewelry box… I realized I had lots of hard and big bracelets as well as many watches.
As I mentioned before, I have to be able to see what I have. I found the perfect watch organizer and the perfect bracelet holder!
As I kept emptying my jewelry box, one thing remained: the luxury jewelry! The most expensive and special necklaces, rings, earrings and hair accessories that I have. The ones you don’t let anyone touch, because you only wear them in the most special occasions in the world. You know? Yeah… those ones!
For those, I used a special box I got from a friend as a gift for my birthday. I used even smaller boxes inside of it to keep all the pieces separated and visible.
Here’s what it looks like:
To be able to organize my jewelry I felt like I needed different types of jewelry organizers. But if you don’t have that much jewelry, you can definitely pick one that will work for you and the amount of pieces you have.
Are you ready to start wearing your jewelry again?
If you feel like you’re ready to finally move those jewelries out of that box, keep them some place where you can see them, and start using it… I will link a couple of similar ones with great price for you to choose from.
This way, you’ll be able to have an idea of what would work for your jewelry as well as the space you have at home to keep it.
Here are some similar options:
1.This first one is similar to the necklace and earring holder I found. The great thing about it is that you can fit as many necklaces as you want and in the third row, it also has a spot for your bracelets. This could do the job for all of your jewelry. Nothing else needed (depending on how much stuff you have, of couse). It’s under $20.
2. If you have a couple of watches and would like to keep them in a box to protect them from getting scratched, but would still like to see them, this option is very similar to the box I have and it’s under $15.
3. And for last, here’s another version of the bracelet holder I use. Under $7.
I would love to know what your favorite option is or if you have any amazing ideas on how to organize your jewelry. Ideas are never too much and there’s no right way to organize anything.
This was simply the best way that worked for me.
I like to keep them where I can see all the pieces and be able to quickly choose my favorite, matching it with the outfit I’m wearing.
My husband likes to be in time every time, anywhere we’re going to. With two kids, that’s not an easy task to be accomplished. I do my best to make it happen so it’s very important I have my stuff visible and well organized to save some time when getting dressed up.
If you decide to change the way you organize your jewelry, I’d love to know.
See you next time, friend!
